YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK

Jim Evanoff, the Environmental Manager for Yellowstone, has been a leader in Biodiesel use and education for more than a decade. In 1996 he began using Biodiesel in one of the park's vehicles (which he still drives), and now Yellowstone's entire diesel fleet operates on Biodiesel.

“My job is managing the environmental programs in Yellowstone National Park, one of our country’s national treasures. Biodiesel will help ensure a brighter future for Yellowstone National Park and the rest of the nation for generations to come.”

MEDFORD, NJ SCHOOL DISTRICT

Ten years ago, the first biodiesel-fueled school bus made its way through the streets of this township.

Today, Medford School District's fleet of more than 60 buses is fueled with biodiesel, and district officials say it has resulted in a savings of $80,000 per year.

Joe Biluck, director of operations for the Medford school district, said he began to research fuel alternatives for the bus fleet 13 years ago.

“I began to realize there was an opportunity to diminish the amount of harmful emissions our students were exposed to every time they rode one of our school buses,” Biluck says.

TO THE EDITORS:

A deeply appreciative "thank you" must be sent to Seth Obetz, vice chairman of Worley-Obetz, (an Amerigreen BioFuels distributor) the largest oil and gas dealer in the county whose policy of supplying its 25,000 customers with fuel obtained only from American sources has set new criteria for all local oil and gas companies.

Mr. Obetz has long studied the world energy situation, and has been in the forefront as a leader in all forms of energy conservation. We salute his knowledge and practical application!
