Renewable energy is natural energy which does not have a limited supply, and can be used and renewed without ever running out. The use of natural energy sources to provide heating and electricity is rapidly increasing in popularity among homeowners.

The use of more natural and renewable energy sources is needed to take the burden off our current dependency on fossil fuels. The high levels of fossil fuels we burn each and every day are contributing to climate change and the polluting of the air and surrounding environments.
 

The Worley & Obetz/Amerigreen Renewable Energy Center engages people of all ages and backgrounds in exploring and experiencing the sustainable technologies affecting our lives. Our exhibits feature clean, alternative energy technologies across a number of categories such as solar, wind, biomass, biofuels, and geothermal; designed to educate visitors of the importance of renewable energy sources. We provide many sources of educational material throughout the Center, and much of this information relates to how you can get involved in energy conservation and producing your very own natural energy.

Each featured exhibit gives visitors insight into how the technologies work, are being used as alternatives to fossil fuels, and support clean energy development. Their applications protect and sustain our environment, our health, and position North America as a leader in the emerging energy economy.
