There are tons of great ideas floating around out there, but we handpicked Kelly Reilly, from Reilly & Sons, Inc., one of our great AMERIgreen branded distributors, to divulge some of her marketing tips that she sticks to to make her company's marketing successful.
WIthout further delay Kelly's Top 5 Marketing Tips:
Existing customers #1 - Don't forget about your existing clients. It's easy to forget old customers when you're trying to gain new ones, but your existing customers may be your way in. Drop by to visit some of your customers and bring them a treat, they will remember this and hopefully (probably) brag about what great customer service you provide.
- Referrals, Referrals, Referrals - Join a local business referral group or chamber of commerce. Get to know people and show them how you can benefit them personally and their business as well. You never know who your next customer will be.
- Be courteous, call someone back - Sometimes all it takes is a phone call to get a customer on your side. I can't tell you how many times a person came onboard with us just because I was the only one who returned their call.
Be creative and think outside the box! - Drop a little something at a prospect's door. Think of useful things that they may use every day (ex. Pizza cutter, memo pad, or calendar). Have your company information printed on it and when they need your services, you will have already been there all along.
- Join Facebook, Twitter and Linked-In - If you haven't already joined the social media circuit... get on it! It's free and a great way of reaching a number of different clients. Post something informative and interesting to get people's attention. I don't see technology going out of style anytime soon, so get engaged. Join Reilly on Facebook.

Re: Reilly's Top 5 Marketing Tips
Haha. It's kinda like Wally World....I'm the first one here...comment wise. But, I just wanted to post a quick comment, as the Reilly truck sits in my drive. (Outstanding K-Turn on King Rd. by the driver, by the way)
It all started last night when I ran out of oil. An extra blanket and I was good until the AM. A 7:00 AM phone call for what I thought would be voice mail, resulted with John answering the phone and the delivery was scheduled. Old school, for sure. Support your community! Thanks Guys.
